Who would you rather party with?

T-ara
A disco themed dance party with T-ara. There's nothing like an alcohol-free themed party.

Big Bang G.D & T.O.P
A more grown up party with booze, DJ(s), a place so cool that you need a passport to enter, lots of people and the name of the song implies that the party favors will get you high. Bonus: performance by G.D & T.O.P and the chance to also party it up with Taeyang and SeungRi (if you're into towels being thrown at you later).

2pm in Hands up
Although fun this party can dangerous with hands randomly going up and down without warning. For half of the party you'll be partying with booze, chicks with bubbles, and a DJ but by the end of the night you'll most likely be drunk. The second half you'll be forced to one side of the club while 2pm dances for the DJ. I feel drunk already thinking about how many shots I'd have to take every time they say get your drinks down.

2pm in Go Crazy
Drunk Junho, nuff said. Kay I'll give you another reason, booze, food, DJ, glow sticks, dancing, party games, confused Nichkhun, boxing match, a ram, and it's a house party at their place which means no cleaning up for you. There's always that drunk guy that jumps into the pool first before everyone else joins in.
The next morning you can't remember what happened.

Big Star
Guy wearing a horse's head, Baram drilling in walls, indoor kiddie pools, group dances, unknown/ mislabeled drinks, balloons, two unicorns that someone stole from a carousel. I have one question though, what happens when they stop singing? what will we dance to?! so that was two questions, I just pulled a YG. When you really look at it there wasn't much dancing, it was more like people standing around talking with booze in their hands and occasionally wave their hands in the air. The unknown liquid is so strong that you'll think you were somewhere else.

2ne1
Pool party. There's so many balls in the pool, I'm not trying to imply anything by that, or am I? Sparklers, booze, and randomly saying "do you love me" because they asked you to, at least the Kwon twins will be there.

So who would you party with out of the 6 options?

So the group/ idol you're a fan of starts to make music that sucks

In an effort to not make this post too long I'm using the time it takes me to eat a mug filled with carrots to time myself.

Let's admit it, 2pm's comeback wasn't.....it wasn't great. Big Bang and 2ne1's last releases and even the one before the last was not great either but they still did well on various music charts. I speak for myself when I say this, I'm still a fan out of loyalty. It's sad when I think of the people who are now finding out about kpop never got to see these groups at their best because generally speaking they don't listen to older music.

Well on my last baby carrot, there were only five in the mug.

Rules to checking out a new kpop group or listening to kpop

Rule #1. Do not and I mean absolutely do not look up pictures of the members or watch the music video as this will cloud your judgement.
Cute guy(s) + horrible music = who's paying attention to the music when he or they look like that.
If you swing the other or you're a guy then replace guy with girl.

Instead, listen to the audio track of their debut song. This will help you to focus on the music instead of his or their looks or worse you may end up liking the group because one member out of 7 looks appealing.

If the song still sounds horrible listen to another song on their album because 9 times out of 10 there's a song on the album that is way better than their debut song. If they're still horrible abandon the group because they'll disband soon anyway, hopefully.

Rule #2. Listen to the song before looking up the lyrics because most times they won't make sense. Idols or the people who write their songs a.k.a songwriters are not philosophers even if people tend to think that there's some profound meaning behind the lyrics when they're just singing about how much they like coffee.

Rule #3. Their job is to sing and perform on stage so that is what you should judge them on. Do not judge their past mistakes or current ones, they didn't sign up to be role models for you or your children just to bring you music. So what if she made the mistake of getting ridiculously huge breast implants then denied getting them?

Rule #4. Do not shun them for debuting under a company you dislike. It's not their fault a company you liked didn't sign them, he or she auditioned for JYP but ended up debuting with Cube Entertainment.  If anything be thankful to that company you dislike for debuting an artist whose voice you enjoy listening to.

Rule #5. This one isn't really a rule. If the voices are great but the songs are horrible just wait for a song that's great and shows of their talents. God alone knows how long did I had to wait for a decent song from Secret.

Rule #6. If all the songs on the album sucks do not check out their variety shows. You might end up liking the group.

If the song is good proceed to check out the members.

I can't name the number of times I've violated rule #1 and #6, now I'm an inspirit.

If you have any more rules to add leave them in the comment section and I'll add them to the list.

Meet MadTown

Meet what J Tune Camp thinks will replace MBLAQ. Unfortunately the group may get a lot of hate for this whether their debut song is good or not.
Sad news, Joon did the right thing and decided to focus on acting. And in some bizarre turn of events Thunder also did not renew his contract....no one saw the latter coming.
Because kpop always seems to be a year behind the name of their debut song is YOLO, you only love oppa (mblaq)

This is definitely in my list of not so good songs for the year, right there with Ok. Now let's meet the members.

M: the cow Moos
A: Daewon
D: Lee Geon (hm...Lee Geon...Lee Joon)
T: Jota (maybe he might know Spanish?)
O: Heo Jun
W: Buffy the vampire slayer
First there was G.O then P.O then D.O now meet H.O. it could be worse, your name could be A-tom or a random letter in the alphabet that you will later attempt to give meaning and insult fans of that manga in the process.
N: H.O (Pretty sure most will pronounce it as Ho)

Now I can't be mad at groups like Sistar, BTS, Vixx, g,o,d and anyone else who supported this group, I choose to believe that they didn't hear this song and got paid for it.

Most times I say I would look out for a group even if their debut song sucks but I won't be saying that for this group, Hit me up if they ever do happen to have a hit song, that'll happen the day when sm no longer exists.

Plastic Surgery Accusations

After you watch Kpop videos, Korean movies and shows after a while you're able to tell when someone has had plastic surgery.
I think for some people it's knowing that someone couldn't be prettier than them without plastic surgery or a boatload of makeup makes them feel better. Sure as heck makes me feel better. But when someone ruins their looks with plastic surgery, I almost want to weep silently for them.
I laugh when someone who has had plastic surgery stands up for the group and says "None of the members have had plastic surgery." I wish members of groups would have plastic surgery before the debut rather than after because when the group makes a comeback you're like "Who's that new member?"

I don't like when idols deny ps accusations by claiming that they were born that way, who are you fooling? I automatically dislike those individuals when even a blind person can tell that you face was man made and you deny it. Big ups to Minzy, who's the only person I can think of who stood up and said "Yeah I got my nose done and I look sexier with it, you got problem with that? Well igaf." Okay well she didn't exactly say that but she did let everyone know, which was pretty obvious like a couple other people.

Sometimes it seems like more than five individuals go to the same surgeon and in turn they come out looking very similar. My ps twin, a decent amount of them have one.

Too many people have gotten plastic surgery for it to be an issue anymore or considered taboo. I just hope they let their future mates know when they decide to produce children because they might get sued like the Chinese guy who sued his wife.<--- that guy deserved to win his case.

But that awkward moment when your chin implant is lopsided.

"2014 Is not a Good Year for Kpop"

I'm tired of hearing "2014 is not a good year for Kpop" I like to see the cup half full. Think of everything good that has happened this year in Kpop for me it's mainly this

We finally get to see T.O.P shirtless, I have waited since Big Bang's LaLaLa promotions. Now that I see it I now wonder ,"how hard did he work for it?" It's by no means impressive it's simply the fact that someone who's never shirtless finally is.

If you're like my sister and you hate/don't like T.O.P, maybe the remake of Fated to Love You was something you consider good. I feel like I would betraying the original if I watched this one even if the main characters are played by actors that I like. Jang Nara please go back to making Chinese dramas, I generally prefer them over your Korean ones. Does this mean they'll also do a remake of Drunken to Love You now?? On a side note I'm not anticipating the Liar Game remake. Keep your hands off of Gokusen!!!! just saying.

Maybe you also didn't like that. And maybe you're a twisted person who enjoys seeing SM slowly fall.

But that Epik High comeback though....it looks like it might be better than the last one. *fingers crossed*

Man, if none of this is good news for you then idk what is. How about DGNA resurfacing and making a comeback? No? Yeah, I didn't think so either.

Ugh That Song

Last year it was Run&Run by BIGSTAR. You may not like the song but you have to admit Feeldog's makeup made it so that you couldn't take your eyes off his pink lips, man they were pink.

The year before that it was Bounce by JJ Project. I would like to see them to shake it for me, privately.

This year it's Yum Yum Yum by Lipservice. Is it me or does the name of the group sound like an escort service or ...nah this is where my boyfriend would say I have a dirty mind.

Does anyone know the name of that guy with the big smile on his face?  He looks familiar, I know I've seen that smile somewhere but I can't remember where or his name.
I found out about this song a day before we were set to have a BBQ at my house, I promised my sister if anyone said the word hamburger I would bust out the hamburger dance.

Every year there is that one song you can't get out of your head, this song may not necessarily be a good or even decent song but for some reason you can't get it out of your head, then you find yourself listening to it on YouTube or worse, you bought the album the song was on. Admittedly I bought JJ Project's album just for the instrumental version of Bounce, don't judge, I'm pretty sure you listen to SNSD.

Strawberry Milk?

Today I turned on the television and it happened to be on Mnet, I guess my sister was watching it before she left for school this morning. Out of all the good Korean channels available we ended up getting Mnet. Back to the story...

I turned on my television to this

At first I thought it might have been GP Basic, that was the group with the youngest members that I could think of at the time, then I realized it was Strawberry Milk. I knew the name sounded familiar but I couldn't remember where I've heard it from, when in doubt google it out. Turns out this group is a sub-unit of Crayon Pop, the members are the two girls with the same face (Choa and....wait, google.... Way).  Like any reasonable person I used google to find out their ages because I was pretty sure they were over 20, well turned out they are.

I was and still am speechless, I changed the channel and never came back to it. The clothes, the dance, THE SONG......WTF?! did I just hear and see.

In my world where Minho raps, google is also verb.
